for a 99 hatch, the prokit lowers the car 1.3-1.4 front and 1.3-1.4 rear

u should be good to go on stock shock for a couple of months depending if theyr weren't beaten on wiht heavy ppl in the back

a proven setup that is one of the lower priced setup's is H&R sport springs wiht kyb agx shock's or tokico illumina's for shocks...that setup is proven and the H&R sport sprign I feel is one of the best compromises in drop and spring rate matched wiht a kyb agx or tokico woudl be mroe than most woudl ever need for aggressive street driving or occasional track day's

basically you are looking at H&R is aroudn a 1.5 drop which is perfect...after that you will need a camber kit etc.
