overheating?????

Angry overheating?????

ok it started yesterday around 4pm
i was stoped and the tempature meter went up 3/4s of the way and almost hit H but when i drive it goes down to the middle
does any1 know what the problem is? could it be coolant
cause yesterday at 5 am i started the car and the needle was wayyyyyyy below the C like it looked like it was broken

The overflow container for your rad and open your rad cap and take a look in there. Make sure your engine is cold.

lol, just open up the rad... you know which one the rad is right? and the overflow container is connected to the rad off a fairly thin hose at the top, i think it's an opaque white colour, look in both those to see if you're low on coolant, that was my problem on my 5th gen a while back, just top her up, or if you feel like it while you're at it flush your rad and then fill it back up!

ok i checked the coolant
and theres like 00000000000 left
so go to crappy tire and buy some
and fill it back up and then what

Thats it, just fill it up.

Make sure you pour it into the overflow container and not the rad.

The overflow container has a cap you can remove.

Yes the twisting one.
If you dump it in the rad itself then it'll be near the front of the car.

Unless you get premixed coolant, you'll need to mix the coolant with water .. half and half, and then dump it into the overflow bottle.
