Cutting performance springs?
My springs on my car right now are only like a 1" drop I beleive. I've heard you can cut springs to the desired height, I was just wondering your opinions on that and if anyone has done it/knows how to do it.
Thanks for the help

It's never ok to cut a coil or two. The spring won't sit right on it's perch if you cut coils.
It's also not advisable to heat the spring's to get them to lower, your weakening the steel and could break on you.
Why not just buy some cheap R1's if you wanna go the cheap route?

Yeah, heating the springs is out of the question.
