deck cutting out

Wondering if anyone can figure out the solution to this problem. My friend has a deck and every song he plays it cuts out in between the song. It just stops playng for a sec and then continues the track. I thought it would be a loose power/ground wire but if it was a loose wire the entire deck would be turning off and it doesen't so that so that's why im posting this. Anyone have any suggestions? Can it be a defective deck?

Here's the deck and it's equipped with a fosgate amp and 2 12" subs, not sure the models of them.

Thanx

sorry...yes they are burnt disks.
what do u mean tracking? It doesen't do this in between songs, it does it while each track is playing like in the middle of a song. Hope this helps

try burning a disk at 2x or 4x pal, and see if it makes a difference..
some decks have a problem reading copies that have been done a high-speed writes..

tracking..
it's the oversampling properties of a deck..might be pausing to read the info on the disk..again, same advice, try a slower burn..

does it do it with original copies too??

Not based on personal experience, but most the reviews I have heard from people in the business and who have used them, that Sony Explode (not the SONY ES, that stuff was amazing back in the day) is not great and things like the deck skipping, and the motorized face breaking, just overall poor quality from Xplode.

i was talking at a Sony Xplode rep awhile ago and i mentioned that about my friends and he said that EVERYTHING is boosted in quality, everything has been fixed in there new models all the little bugs like that skipping and breaking are now a thing of the past

and i had just resently bought one of there new MP3 decks
its so SWEET JUST LOOK!!

it has a CD tray instead of slidding it in a slot
