Insurance company question???

I was just wonder what Insurance company other TCC members using, that know of their cars being modified. My company (belair direct) is no longer willing to insure me, because my car is modded and I need to find one that will. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

good luck finding one that will insure ur mods. even if they'll insure the car as stock, they can always blame an accident on ur mods, deny ur claim, and then drop u. if by some miracle u find an ins co that will insure ur mods, u'll prolly pay a high price. but if u do find one, keep us updated. but ppl usually dont tell their ins co of their mods cuz they'll get dropped.

i had my 4dr 95 civic modded... lower(to the extreme), rims, 1piece projecters, taillights, crazy sterio.. etc etc... not the craziest modded car but still modded... anyway i was with CAA and hit a curb in a parking lot(newbie accident awhile ago) and no damage was done outside but the curb was low enough to get underneath the front of the car and it smashed and dented the whole rad support bar... anyways took it to the body shop... insurance guy came and saw the mods and asked when i did all the stuff(mods) and i said a few months ago.. anyway long story short they covered everything without any arguments..
