i know what you mean... i rather spend that money on mods... imagine you don't get in any accidents during your insurance policy period... the insurance companies are laughing with all that money coming in!! and they invest it to earn more.... whoever thought of this concept must be a genius (or very good con artist)

Ask your broker about a company called Coachman. I've been through that searching phase before and I've found that they're the cheapest. I've been with them for a bit over a year now.

Do a search on www.kanetix.com to see if you can get a lower quote.

That's a little too much my friend, i have a 98 SiG and i'm only paying $5,220 a yr which is still too expensive compared to normal rates try the broker that ShaunR21 or whatever his name was is giving out, if you want the number pm me i have it and i'll fwd it to you... but i don't think the internet has cheaper rates, i've looked at all the sites and they're WAAAAY more expensive than what i have i think broker is the best way to go i'm going to give him a call on friday and see what he says

btw - i'm 19 and only have my G2 so that quote is BS

I think Shane is a hero! Let me explain why. I am currently with Echelon Insurance, and my annual premium was $7560 (19 years old, G2) for a 2002 Honda Civic Sedan. The deductables were $1500 collision, and $200 comprehensive. No rental car benefits, etc. I got two minor tickets, and my insurance was going to jerk to $9980 which is approx 10k. I called this company up, that Shane gave. The quote they're giving me is $5400 with a $500 collision deductible, and a $300 comprehensive deductible. Rental benefits are included for car rental, if I am involved in an accident. This is with two minor tickets on record. I told them I have two minor tickets. Now the new quote is almost half of what I'm paying. A huge thank you for Shane!!

Yeah I'm gonna call him when I get my ride. Like how much could it cost for me to have a 4th gen Si? I will be 19 soon, going for my G in december, and have a clean reacord. no insurance history though. Can I get away with paying less than 2 grand a year for liability only? Cars not gonna be worth anything anyways.
