BS Ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yesterday i was drive with a buddy and on my lunch break going to Mc'Ds i get to the parking lot and there is a cop behind me..anyways to make along story short. he wrote me a ticket cause i through my smoke out of the window...what kind of crap is that...a $110 ticket for littering!!!!!!!!! dont they have anything better to do then this!!!!!!!!

ya i tossed it out the window. i pulled into the parking lot and when i got out there he was all in my face. i didnt even know he was behind me..littering over a cigerette butt! it wasnt a bag of trash or a coffee cup! i seen worse before.

Well like the old saying goes,
If everyone through there cigerette butts out there would be a mess....He was just making an example....Why not put the butt in your ash tray, that's what they are meant for....
No sympathy over your ticket....That $110.00 will go towards the city having to have someone come pick your garbage up...Expensive house keeping bill eh

your cigerete butt should never be throw out the window.
1) it dirties the environment
2) if still going and in a wood area the act of flicking the butt out has been known to cause forest fires.
3) guys on motor cycles don't like it if they are behind you

Dude i would be pissed off as well.. But to be honest not a smart move on ur part... But then again i always litter infront of cops... while im walking.. Ill wave then throw it on the ground, calling attention to it.. The reaosn u got the ticket was b/c of ur civic.

Yes it was because of his Civic that he got a ticket for littering....good call...NOT...It's a Civic, there are a million of them out there, no difference if your littering out of a bloody K-Car, you got the ticket for littering not because of your Civic...
And I doubt that if you were waving to a cop then littering that you wouldint be getting a ticket as well....bogus...

Just take it to court and it'll get tossed out. The inconvenience of you having to waste your day going there and taking care of it will be punishment enough for your oh so haneous crime

I'm sorry dude but I don't feel for you at all. I hate it when people throw their smokes out the window.
I had guy one throw his butt out the window and it landed square on my windsheild. I was pissed! At the next red light I rolled down my window and threw a smartie at his car. he rolled down his window and screamed at me. I told him that he thought it was OK to throw **** at my car so I was returning the favor. I let him know about the smoke and he said "Oh......sorry" and drove off.
Bottom line, throwing stuff from car=BAD

my dad rides bikes and he told me just how much it bothers him when people tdo that. None of the people that do it ever care to see if there is someone on a bike behind them. Just think of what it must be like to be riding along miding your own business and then outta nowhere, u get hit in the helmet with a cigarette but and sparks fly everywhere... Yeah, tahtd be pretty scary eh! Or to have a cigarette butt burn a hole in your expensive leathers. I know its winter rite now and there arent many bikers out but nobody ever thinks of this when they toss one out the window.
To be honest with you man, I am glad u got a ticket for this. It is not BS and i just hope that more people can get tickets for this also
