i believe there is no Decibal law in canada, that is california and its 91db i believe. the letter may help, good luck to you.

It's completely in the officer's discretion. Maybe if you can prove that he somehow has accute hearing it may get dropped.

Have questions ready like:

1. The circumstance that he heard your exhaust.

2. Was his windows up or down?

3. Were there any other vehicles or motorcycles on the road at the same time? Could he have mistaken your car for a motorcycle that was accelerating?

If you build your case properly you should be able to get off.

kk cool.. but i just wnana know if i get my notice in the mail and the court date is when i'm away in europe cna i have it moved to another date?

yeah just go down there and let them asap if u let it to much time pass they just tell you it s your own fault and a automatic plea of guilty will be made.

how about those guys on harley davidsons.....damn those things are loud as sh*t....why no tickets for those guys?

dan, get a stock muffler put on, tell them your cars had that muffler on when u got it and u thought it was stock. my buddy got a ticket for this a while back, he won it easily

umm he didn't put anything through.....
considernig it wasn't for noise and the muffler itself.. and saying that i have a letter from magnaflow saying that allt heir exhaust meet the HTA and what not i'll c...

court tommorrow so i'll let you guys know

anyways i won my ticket.. i had to swear with the bible and **** and like opose the cop.. weird ****.. first time.. anywayz.. they didn't even let me use the letter or anything but i argued my case and the fact i had emmisions done after i had the muffler put on so it was all good

funny part was the lady judge wanted to hear my car to make the decision .. cuz the cop said it was so loud he couldn't hear his radio what so ever over my exhaust.. BS... but it wasn't there but it all went well

what a load of crap...why didn't they let you use your letter??????
that's like evidence, back in 2001, i got a ticket for haveing my plates put on my side of the window, i got a ticket for that so i took a picture of the car with the plates on and i was cleared of all chargers, just like the letter that your received was your evidence

anyways, when i first seen you post this up i new that you were going to win, yet another stupid ticket that cops give out but rarely win on
