Set a court date. Cops rarely show up for a ticket like that.

how loud is it really because most of those mufflers are only really loud when you are at WOT

yeah fight it and ask the cop what he defines as an improper muffler and as long as it isn't straight through and has baffles and matting in it tell the judge that it is truly a muffler and not some straight through fart can

yeah you have to take your car or get another muffler the same as yours and chop it in half as to show that it isn't a straight through muffler. look on the back of the ticket it should tell you how to set up a court day

if u tell them u sold the car or it was written off they throw it out right away...thats what I did with mine, but my car was actually written off
