Couldn't agree with T-MacK any more. Hell I got my civic when I was still in highschool. Suspension was stock [front blown] got proper struts and lowering springs. I do stupid things to my car here and there but nothing that will affect my or other drivers safety in any way.
Since we are on this topic, I was chilling in centennial park in etobicoke last night and saw a black 4dr EG with cut springs I assume, rolling 5km/h bouncing and clipping exhaust on the floor. Yes it looked nice since it was dumped but you only go that low for daily driver if you have air bags.
OP, look around, I saw few sets of lowering springs for quite cheap. Also check out optionJDM I believe they have camber adjustment kits. And seriously for everybodies safety, get rid of the springs ASAP.

It would ride more or less the same as a stock civic. Only difference is it's lowered and if the springs still retain the soft factory spring rate, it may even hit the bump stops time to time....not safe at all.

okay this is what i payed to lower my car and this was extensive shopping

got tokico blues for 50 bucks
neuspeed lowering springs for like 70 bucks
rear lower control arms for 170 bucks
sold my stock setup for like 80 bucks
installed for 160 bucks

so like 370 intotal

now when i worked at my old job (mcdonalds) which paid **** saving that would have took me like 2 months (when i save for something like this i dont put money away slowly i turn into ghandi)

2 months of taking **** from ppl so i can see where hes coming from

have you seen any of those baby blue civics with chrome rims roaming about those guys didnt spend an arm and a leg on their setup they got it through HARDCORE bargaining a proper baby blue (three stage) FYI that paint job would be like 3-6 grand

i know where you guys are coming from and agree with you 10000% but (sorry for speaking on your behalf btw) cut him slack he probably wants a "sick" setup but at this point doesnt have the money

FYI my cars ride is insanely smooth with the setup above and recommend not to cut springs but oh well

its like hookers you can pay for a good one or you can pay for a shitty one either ways she'll get the job done

More or less the same? I seriously doubt that. This is physics and the amount of coils matters.

Do as bangali says! Tokicos and springs. Its cheap and works great..

It would be stiffer but not as stiff as your typical lowering spring. Also depends on how much was cut off.

How much DID you cut the springs?

Anytime you touch your suspension, you should get an alignment. I am assuming that you did not. For that kind of tire wear you definitely have a toe problem. I am skeptical that a camber kit would even help if your car is as low as I think it may be.
