Sub makes pop noise when deck turn on and off
#4
Not necessarily bad but it could be depending on your gains. The pop is just random electronic noise generated by a circuit receiving power for the first time. If the pop that you hear is at a level and frequency that would usually come out of the speaker then the speaker is in no danger. The amp shouldn't have a problem with it either since all its doing is amplifying the random signal which its circuitry wouldn't be able to differentiate from a valid(music) signal. If the pop is horrendously loud or the wrong frequency, i.e. your subwoofer shrieks, then its a problem. Other than that, you'll lose some points on your IASCA install card.
