Question Installing an aftermarket deck?

Is it hard to install an aftermarket deck in a 96 civic 4dr? It looks like a pain in the ***. Any help is appreciated. I guess I will have to buy a harness won't I? Thanks in advance for the help.

Buy a harness and dash kit to install in the factory location I think. (dont quote me on this)

Check out www.installdr.com for info.

Get a wiring harness and a mounting plate for the deck. You have to take off teh plastic dash trim all aroung the console. It is really easy just a little time consuming.

its much harder on civics than it is on other cars, you cant just simply pop the stock radio out...(at least on 6th gen's)...i scrathed mine up big time with a screwdriver before i took it to a pro lol

I got mine installed at 2001 AV but I watched the guy and it doesnt seem like such a hard thing to do. Just remove the glove compartment and use that to access the dash panel.
