Lightbulb Installing a deck

Hi,

I got a 1995 Honda Civic LX. Honda says for my model I have to put a CD player in the trunk and control it using the radio/cassette player but I want to rip that out and install a CD/radio deck. Can I do this like just take out the deck that's in there and replace it with a better one or does it have to go in the trunk? I think it's just for a CD changer or safety precaution. What's the deal??

Thanks

-Adam

Hello Adam,

A changer would be set up in the trunk , but yes you should be able to pull out your stock deck and install an aftermarket one in its place ... From the sounds of things you may want to get someone to do it for . ie stereo shop
