Angry Squeaky Brakes

I have KVR crossed drilled rotors and KVR carbon fibre brake pads...When I bought them the guy said that it would cause less brake dust and noise but I'v have had nothing but excess dust and annoying squeels...I thought that they just had to be broken in but it has been over a month now and it seems to be just getting worse..any suggestions?

I am assuming the squeels are when you brake?
The disc is a different metal than the pads....if the install is right, it shouldn't squeel...duh I know obvious..
If they were not careful...chances are they got particles of the disk on the pad or vice vera during the install.....then it causes the same two metals to grind against each other causing the squeel.
I would bring it back and get them to properly clean the rotors and pads....if nothing else they should look it over and double check their work, cuz it shouldn't be squeeling a month later in IMO.
Maybe they'll be some better experts on brakes that can add additional info.
Hope this helps

Doh! I was afraid I might hear that. I have been told when changing the brakes always make sure your hands are clean....maybe this is why

It might not be the pad or rotor causing the noise, but the job itself.
Did you properly clean the retaining clips and lubricating the slider pins?

That was the point I was also trying to get across....one has to be very clean and make sure all the parts are clean too.

i know this reply is a little late, but when you installed the pads, did you make sure to add some anti-squeal lubricant between the brakepad back and shim?
