Squeaky motor mount...Silicone ok to use?

Squeaky motor mount...Silicone ok to use?

Car came outta storage acouple days ago and i noticed i have a squeaking problem. I think it is with 1 of my engine mounts. Can Silicone Spray be used to help lube up the mount?

dont use silicone use window weld. 3M makes it for installing car windshilds. polyurethane... It will stiffen up the mount nice.

thats to stiffen the mount...what he wants to do is stop it from squeeking and wants to know if silicone spray lube is okay to use

yeah, I use silicone spray on all my rubber like weatherstriping and stuff. so yeah!! totall use silicone spray but it generally likes to be reapplied often.

something in my car is squeeking i thought it was my throw out bearing .. cuz everytime i shifted it squeeked.. now for the fact when i was goin off my driveway it squeeked with the clutch out.. so i figured it could be the mount and only do it when the engine shifts.. i duno

thats your slave cylender squeeking, very common honda problem, spray some oil in there.
