power steering fluid?

power steering fluid?

does it matter if i use from crappy tire or should i buy from honda?

my honda repair guide recomends you use only honda power steering fluid. Lets see what others have to say....

always best to use oem fluids spend a few extra bucks

canadian tire stuff will od the same thing as OEM and its a couple bucks cheaper

Just make sure you use the "made for Honda" P/S fluid, but CT carries it so you don't have to get it from the dealer.

my honda repair guide recomends you use only honda power steering fluid. Lets see what others have to say....
Probably because Honda p/s fluid is not the same as other cars.

i'm actually using brake fluid in mine... haven't had a single problem in over a year with it

you are doing WHAT punk????

I hope you at least mean ATF and NOT brake fluid. And even ATF is not the right stuff.

You could use any brand name p/s fluid, but I'd personally use Honda stuff. You know it's been tested with your seals and is good for what it does. Don't put ATF or anything else in there.

well its already in there... and i had a big thing of brake fluid but hardly any real power steering fluid... so actually its a mix if brake fluid and power steering fluid... to take the ghetto ness one step further you know that tube thing that uses two bolts to attach to the top of the pump? only got one of those in too...
