hello all, the other day i let my friend "drive" my car around the block and now the clutch pedal feels king of loose? if i tap the pedal it moves down like 1-2 cm before i feel any resistance, but i can shift normally, infact it grips better than before , but does this mean my clutch is on its way out?

hydro clutch is self adjusting...so unless the pedal has worked itself loose... not much more you can do. Kinda need more info from your end. Your clutch is on the way out when you floor it, and the engine revs up but the car doesn't accelerate much (and your clutch is fully engaged)

mine does the same.

if you look on your pedals you can probably see there is a small gap before it hits the prong to push the plunger in, at least thats how it is on mine.

ill take a look, its like theres a bit of slack when i press the pedal, for some odd reason it happend when my friend drove it.. hmm

have someone check the pedal free-play, too little can wear out throw-out bearing fast.. too much can result in less multiplied force to engage the pressure plate, and a very low release point.
