clutch pedal sticking
hey i got a eg sedan and when i go to start it in the morning the clutch pedal always get stuck down and i have to pull it back up.. if i press it again and try and put it in gear it doesnt go in and grinds. if i keep pumping the pedal for a few seconds it seems to make the clutch feel normal and it works fine. what can be causing this?

slave is bolted to the transmission.
Pull the boot back ON THE SLAVE. You;'ll have to pull the big boot back first, then the boot on the slave. If fluid pours out, the cylinder is pooched. If it doesnt, I would try and bleed your system. Brake fluid attracts moisture and over time that can form air bubbles.

to bleed it you need a friend to work the clutch. and an 8mm wrench. you'll see the bleeder screw sticking up out of it pointing toward the driver head light. have you friend press down the pedal and hold it down. you then open the bleder and fliud comes out and prolly air. close the bleeder and have them pull the pedal up if it doesn't come up on it's own. then repeat untill you get a steady stream of fliud with no air bubbles or sputtering. then go sit in the car and feel the pedal for your self. DO NOT JUST ASK HOW THE PEDAL FEELS AND TRUST THEIR JUDGMENT. try that and if tomorrow you have the same problem, pm me I have a slave for you.
