clicking when starting?

well i just finished my swap and i got it started like 3-4 days ago and it fired up and ran for like 3 minutes and then it just died.so i pulled the plugs and they were jet black.so i put new ones in and tried to start it but it wouldnt do anything no lights would come on no noise nothing so i waited like 5-6 hours and tried again but all it does is click really really fast. ive tried jumping the car but that doesnt work either is it most likely the dizzy how would i test it?
