clicking suspension...

Hey guys I need some help here...

Just recently I had my front wheel bearings + lower ball joints replaced. After this was done I noticed that whenever Im braking at a lower speed .. say between 20-50km I notice a clicking, spring type noise. I'm almost positive I didnt hear it before the bearings and ball joints.

I took it to a mechanic friend of mine and he drove it and said rotors. Luckily I did have spare rotors aside to swap them in.

Now the shake in the wheel is gone when I apply brakes but the noise is still there...

I pushed down on the shocks on both sides they dont bounce more than twice. However, I do notice a little squeak.

Any ideas?

96 Si
Tokico Blues
H&R Race springs

Thanks in advance...

Changed both front lower ball joints + wheel bearings...

driver side wheel clicks when braking 40km and under but only under light braking..

under heavy braking there isnt a noise at all

hey k_r_a_c_k_e_r im not sure if this will help you out at all but i finally got around to replacing the pad retainers on both front calipers and the noise finally disappeared ...

apparently they were worn and were rubbing or moving under light braking and obviously not under heavy braking...

My guess would be a busted spring or a blown shock.
