ek hatch clicking? clacking? clunking? in my right rear!

i bought a set of skunk2 lowering springs for my ek (2.5/2.25 drop) about a month ago. and since the day i put them on my stock shocks a got this clicking clacking or clunking noise is my back right wheel well. I figured i could ignore it for a while but now its just getting on my nerves and i cant figure out what it is..has anyone experienced this and/or know what causes this?

thanks

just a suggestion, you may have already considered this, but might it be wheel bearings and not anything to do with the springs?

Yeah it's beacause you slammed your car 2 1/2" on stock shocks.
No offense but what where you thinking going such an aggresive drop without doing it right?????
With that drop you need aftermarket shocks and a camber kit. Your car will continue to get worse untill you eventually blow them out.
The stock shock can'not handle the stress your car is putting on them.
With suspension you can't cheap out.....most people find that out the hard way.

Few thing could be verified..

Remove all the thing in the back..spare etc...it could be simple: something mpving in the back..

1) torque all the bolt, on this side

2) Verifiy is the exhaust could knock on the lca or sway bar if you have a sway bar and verify the endlink...

3) have you change the top hat bushing and sleeve, it could be that, if the car have few year of utilisation.

OEM shock are not made for agressive drop, something the shock can supporte it for a year, sometime for month....

Coil over kit are ideal when you want an agressive drop, not OEM shock..

good luck

I would check the bolts, bearing and exhaust piping first. Shocks don't blow in a matter of month.
