Car has died like many ha ha ideas??

My car died my friend said it is probably the fuel pump but I want a few idea to what else it could be.

I was driving in the rain on Tuesday and it started to choke at the lights between 1000-2000 RPM but after I started to go it worked fine, then the next night it choked again. It idles fine but when I start to go it hasatates agains, then I got to where I was going it started to get worse, then it died I was able to start it and get 3km and then at the light i died. I had it towed home and then I was able to start it and get it in the garage.

I think it might have to do with the rain, the plugs and wire were changed last year and the distributor cap was replaced a few month ago with the alt.

Anyone have anything else it could be??

THANX

sounds more like an ignition problem to me.
Check for spark.
Check for fuel.
Getting a CEL?

could be the distributor going bad. honestly, I've never seen a Honda fuel pump fail, though I guess it could happen.

it could be the distributor goin back but if your friend is correct... u can a could friends drive the car and when it stalls... start pushing it and when u have enuff momentum push the clutch (if your a manual tranny) and see if it runs again. b4 you try to start it with the key again.
