My car just died!! need help???

ok heres what happen. i was doing about 55 km/hr and turning right. so i put the gear in nuetral then went to 3rd gear after the turn, suddenly car died when i started pressing acceleration (3rd gear). i went to the side and stopped, tried to start engine but wont start. there was some cranking but it wont start. battery still good. i checked the belts, all good. checked the fuse box, all good. checked sparkplug all good but no spark when tried to start it. gas filter looks good too. could it be the starter or distibutor?? shoot me some ideas whats the problem, what ways to figure out the problem and areas to check to fix. thanx

well you don't have any spark. Look at your car/rotor/dist.

You know it cranks so it can't be the starter.

When you do try and crank it over does it seem slower/normal/faster than usual?
