Engine swap question!

I agree with the ls vtec build. I know you think it's expensive but it you go with a golden eagle lsvtec kit you don't even need to machine the head. it's pretty much a bolt on. cams are gonna need a tune and st1 wont do much. st2 or higher you'll need to get springs and retainers also. but also I agree with sicrid3r you should boost it, low boost on stock internals with a backyard speacial turbo build and a good tune you'll be set and if you boost it you'll prolly wanna keep your current tranny saving you some money. so I guess if I were you I would base my decision on if my current tranny is good or grinding.

So I think that I have found the perfect solution. I have talked to a few shops today and got my choice. Get the same engine at the same price as the repair price a brand new b16 with a new trans all dry set up. OR I am going to get the bottom b20 from the crv and put my head on it and get my tranny fixed with a new longer first gear ratio. Or I will try to find an DRY LSD tranny that will be a straight bolt on to the B20 bottom end. Does any one have the same set up. I know of the loss of the high rev but the TOURQE and the B20 with a vtech is a sick set up for a future turbo. Tell me what you B16 lover think technically and mechanically.
