sounds like the belt is slipping, a little loose. you can go to can tire to buy a can of spray to help with the slippage.

well try moving the alternator/power steering/AC belts around if the are loose tighten them. i had to tighten my alternator belt once, i loosened the bolt thats ontop of the alternator on this slider kind of thing, stuck a broomstick in there and wedged it tight, then tightened the bolt. you can do the same for any belt tightening.

Very familiar with this and it is more than likely your alternator belt. Check em all for tension and condition. If the belt is damaged or appears overly streched replace it or your gonna loose it. If it seems good just tighten it. Alternator u'll need pry bar and a 12mm wrench. PS i believe u can do just with a 10mm socket and rachet. If its the same as a b-series its a matter of adjusting the tension screw on the PS pump.

You just have a loose accessory belt. It wouldn't be a bad idea to give all 3 (if you have a/c and p/s) a tighten.

If you look at the belt and there are any cracks or rips in them whatsoever, it is time to replace them.
