Talked with my Lawyer for an hour today. I have alot of options which is good. I had no choice but to contact Lawyer since the BBB wouldnt do anything cause Jay woudlnt accept.

So he will be getting a letter shortly from my Lawyer demanding my car back or most likely face legal matters. Small claims court and a few other options. Depending on if I get the car back soon and what condition it is in. Havent seen it in 2 months no clue if motor and paint are done.

I'm sorry it has to come to this. It's your last resort, I guess. You gotta do what you gotta do.

you will probably pay more to the lawyer than what the car is worth

All I want is my car get and I am fed up with this bodyshop. I have tried all means necessary and this is the only option I am left with.

Was he only removed because he wants he only do insurance work or is this for other matters ? Not paying bills perhaps or just the amount of people now complaining.

Do you honestly think I wanna spend more money on a Lawyer. **** no. But when your car was supposed to be in show LAST year and you've tried to contact wtf else am I gonna do ? Wait it out more ? Drive down to a empty shop and waste 3 hours and $60 worth of gas like I have done 5 times ?

Ive given the bodyshop enough money and theres still the air ride to install and 3 weeks of interior work / stereo with Davis. I have a budget that I stuck too. I went a little over on somethings that the bodyshop was supposed to get but I bought them. Didnt wanna hear the excuse of it not done cause Im waiting on this and that. Heard that too many times.

All said and done hopefully I wont have to goto court. I just wanted to have some options. Who knows maybe he'll call me on Monday.

no body shop will keep a car for that long...there has to be something else to this big and long story. i am not saying that you are not telling the truth, i am just saying all this chat is simply one sided and unless jay responds to this, one can assume so many things.

i dont think this car of yours had anything to do with jay not being an affiliate anymore.

and why in the world you wont tow the damn thing out of there? so many ppl have suggested that to you all along.

Dont say no bodyshop will keep a car that long. Look what he is doing. There is nothing else to this BIG and LONG *** story. Fact is Ive paid for work that has taken 18 months to complete. Yes I can see what you are getting at but when I have facts, pictures, transcripts of his LIES you would understand Im not making **** up. He is taking his time and avioding my calls and when I try to come down he's never there.

As I stated earlier I would LOVE for Jay to come explain all of this to everyone and say why he has taken so long. I have not seen my car in 2 months.

I think my car and other peoples issues would affect how he looks on here and as an affil.

I dont know how to be anymore clear. How can you tow a car you cant find or cant locate. He moves shops and I still try to find and Im sick of wasting gas to locate him. He should be calling me. I am the customer not him.

Earlier I did not want to tow it away cause I paid for all the work and paint. So if it wasnt painted then I lost money. I paid for a service to be completed and I expect that. Well thats what a business does atleast.

Soon as he contacts me its been towed. And if work that I paid for hasnt been completed I'll mention to my lawyer.

Is that the right awnser though? Towing it months ago ? I would loose money, have to get work done somewhere else. Ya that would work but thats not right. I shouldnt have to be doing that.

Some may think this may be one sided or whatever. But I'll post back and quote the beginning of this thread when he said he was making changes and this and that. Business hours ONLY Mon-Fri 9-5 but when you try to make appointment to see car during those hours hes always tied up or at a car auction. LMAO People can assume what they would like. Ive spoken to others having issues with him so its not just me. And not just people hating on him. Its customers trying to get the service and respect they deserve.

Its been quite some time since Jay has been online. Few weeks atleast. I would love to see a response from him to why all of this is going on. To help clarify to others what is going on.

On a lighter side of this, maybe Jay's using your ride as a rolling drug mule. He's adding hidden compartments to stash the hash.

Called most of the day today. His phone was turned on in the afternoon and the voicemail WAS empty because I was able to leave ANOTHER message. Havent gotten a call back but I do believe it was supposed to be within 1 business day as he stated. You would think that Mon-Fri 9-5 would mean I answer my calls and return calls 9-5 but I guess not.

Ya that works out for ya this new place is a little closer. Either way where ever the new shop is I just want my car. Tow it outta there.

Well its 12:30pm on Fri Sept 12th the day the shop is supposed to be open. You would think he would call one of his customers but nope. I thought the hours of operation were Mon-Fri 9am-5pm the phone rang once around 9:15 or so when I called. And its been shut off since then.

Looks like Santa is screwing around again.

Well its now 6:31pm and still no call. Its after 5pm on Friday now so he definately wont call. Looks like I'll have to wait until Monday now to hear from him. Why leave a message saying you are open for business on a certain day and then turn your phone off.

Brutal, I dont even know the words to explain. I hate it when someone gives you a certain date and you look foward to it, that day comes and they still let you down. You would think after it happening 10 times atleast that I would be used to it.

Just wait and see what happens again. As I know some of you will say again why not tow it. Well I have no clue where my car is and no idea where this new shop is.

If anyone has the new shop addy I would appreciate it so I can stop by there and tow my car outta there.
