its good that your setting regular business hours jay, you worked wayyyyyy too much before.

I think Jay is one of the only people i would ever let touch my car for bodywork/paint. I've seen the work jay does and it speaks for itself. Jay has also thoroughly explained to me whats all involved in every step while prepping a car for paint and painting a car and let me tell you, he's working for every penny he earns, which after supplies and overhead, prolly isn't even that much at the end of the day.

**** happens, especially with cars, old rusty crusty hondas/acura aren't so much fun to work on, especially when people who want to pay very little expect perfection.

Good things are worth waiting for, and instead of rushing people, you should understand that they might possibly be having a hard time with YOUR car, or maybe are busy with another car, since YOUR car isn't the only car thats being worked on. I'm not directing this at anyone, just expressing how i feel being in the automotive industry myself.

thank you zeeman appreciate the support.
its understandable to me as a person who is also into cars that people want things done right away and want things done as good as possible for as cheap as possible because thats the whole point of saving money and enjoying the hobby. the problem comes down to i would say the internet. 90 percent of the people would add in their two cents because they feel the need to jump on a bandwagon and find it easy to bash anyone since they are in the comfort of their homes and dont know the person.

kinda like the jdm vs. rice thing. anyone who has a bodykit is a ricer automatically and is now considered scum when it comes to auto modifications.

glad to see you finally got your body shop together, and finally taking the initiative to let your potential customers know whats going on... cause i have talked to you on the phone and you sounded like a really cool guy........, thats why i really wanted you to do my body work since everyone said you do quality work. But once i saw those posts about you and your shop from other memebers about you ignoring calls, not showing up, and no responses to warranty your work, i hope you stand behind what you sell still. Because with all those people in the other thread complaining, had me worried about bringing my car to you i hope you took the initiative to resolve any issues with your past customers. But if u have changed the way you operate you'll see that people will not only bring you their cars to be worked on, but recommend you to friends and family

I knew Jay would come through with some form of explanation. The man works hard, perhaps way too hard for his family. Every business goes through tough periods. One inefficient employee will drag down the entire establishment.

I have got paint work done with Jay and I am a happy customer. Price was acceptable and you have to remember that the man has to eat, too. I am sure Jay is bettering himself as well as his shop on a daily basis.

Hey Jay I thought everything was straighten'd out. It is now May 20 2008 and the dead line for my car was supposed to be the 4th week of April. It has been 3 weeks now since you were supposed to send me pictures of my car. Its 10:56am on Tuesday I called awhile ago no answer no your phones are off. I left you messages Thursday and Friday to pop down and see it. Now your mail box is full and I cant get ahold of you again and you wont return my calls. I did drop my car off there in March of 2007 remember.

Barry a VERY unsatisfied customer !!!!

couple of things barry doesnt seem to understand is our hours of operation. monday thru friday 9-5. dont bother comming down, calling etc and expecting anyone of us to be here after these hours. i did upload the pics on the host but as i told u in the pm i uploaded the memory card in the camera instead of the internal memory. you didnt bring the car in march since my new location wasnt even open til may. if you are not satisfied with the work you are welcome to come pick up the car as is and i can refund your money. unlike other vendors here who are offering sales rather then a service i dont have the time to be on here 24/7 and monitor everything and everyone's post/pm. best way to contact me is via phone and if you dont get me leave a msg and i will try to get back to you asap. its very simple but some make it seem so hard. you call once or twice and if you dont get me and it is actually important enough leave a msg on my vm. if you try to contact me or anyone at the shop during off hours or weekends and i dont return your call till the next official business day it doesnt mean i ran off with your money and car it means i havent checked any vm's because i am not at my shop. people posting about me being hard to get a hold of need to re-think as to what times they are calling and what days.

I did stop by the shop on a wensday at 1pm and waited and left a note on your door. Also when I made that appointment at noon to meet you there and I waited. You appolgized because of certain matters you had to attend too. I realize you made a mistake on the pics but you should have checked when you uploaded them. Ok then I brought the car in may knock off 2 months. I dont want a refund if I did I would have asked I just wanna see it, look it over before paint and then get it painted and the motor in. I dont expect you to be on 24/7 but whys it been so long ? I do leave a voicemail I did on thursday and friday and its now tuesday and I just got a pm.
