97 Civic rattling noise

97 Civic rattling noise
Hi all, any help is appreciated.
A while ago I noticed two different rattling noises coming from my automatic Civic EX (not been used as much as its age, only 129K), the pitch is slightly different with one happening at idle and another at different times during accelerate/braking, I am not positive if its two different things but the sounds are different. I guess in most case the first thought is the heat shield. Not learning from experience, I took it to one of the 'big' places and the heat shield was 'strapped', not surprisingly one (if not both really) of the noises still occurs.
Any advice would be appreciated, would be willing to take it to a trustworthy, reasonable shop. Thanx
