Car won't go into gear and pedal floopy

Car is a 93 civic with d15b7 with a manual tranny.

I was coming home yesterday and soon as I got home the car started acting up. The clutch pedal had a really loose pedal feel. I was at a stop in neutral. I pushed the clutch in and now its like their is No pressure at the pedal at ALL.

The friction point felt like its at the bottom. I parked the car and went inside.

Come back out and then no I turn on car push clutch in (still feels liek no pressure) try and put it into 1st and the thing WON"T go using a lotta force and felt like I was gona break the shifter.

I stop trying and checked the m aster cylinder and slave. I see no leaks around the slave and open up master. Fluid is low and dirty. I called a buddy over and we bleed it.

Still a no go.

1 hour a later I try again. TUrn on car he pushed the car I pushed in clutch and was able to shift into first and then the remaining with using the clutch as well.

I thought all was good.

This morning same **** happened. Wouldn't go into first. This time I had no person to push the car. I just kept turning the car of and trying to get it to go in 1st.

Eventually I got the thing to start working and was able to make it to work on time. But the kicker here is now the pedal is not sloopy and loose feeling and go quite a bit of pressure and feel back to it and feels like it did about a few days ago before this **** started happening.

I have no idea WTF is going on just looking for some advice as to what it COULD be.

so again after work press in clutch try to shift into 1st and an no go.

i pumped the clutch pedal 6 or so times and then i was able to shift again and get home from work and it started workling normally.

is this the master cyl the slave or the clutch?

the only reason i don't think it would be the actual clutch is because its not slipping at all.

Hey, there is an adjustment nut attached to your clutch pedal under your steeringwheel. check to make sure is hasn't come off all the way. if not, pull back the carpet under the pedals and check to see if there is brake fluid running out from where the pushrod for the clutch pedal goes into the firewall. if there is no leaks check all clutch lines in the engine compartment (there isn't that many) for leaks. chances are your clutch master cylinder is gone and/or your slave...for the extra 30-50 bucks just replace both.
Hope this helps,
Jamie

as far as I can tell, there is nothing wrong with your actual clutch.

i got away cheap i didn't think to check under that plastic boot for the dust cover.......leaking a lot but all behing held in.

only last question is now everything is fine but the the clutch friction point is so quick soon as i press clutch now it diengages.....prob cuz the slave is new and doesn't need much pedal push.

anyway to adjust this so its near the bottom?
