ERR second gear won't chirp!!!

man, new clutch, new fly wheel...think tranny is really going...
first to redline (7200) and when i throw it into second and floor it it normally would go right to 5500 and start to climb but now it gets stuck @ like 6500 and i have to release the gas to let the gear catch before i can floor it again. i've tried just normal shifting and power shift. no go
syncro problem maybe?

Aren't u supposed to take it easy on new clutches.

Let it break in, its not good to just kill it, since its brand new.

ya i have a somewhat similar problem...... my syncro's in second gear are toast..... this is in a 93 Si hatch with nearly 230 000kms and factory original clutch, etc..... you just gotta get really smooth with the double clutch and it'll go good..... second will barely chirp.... but thats more from my clutch's old french ***** life style than lack of power....

its all about the d16z6!!

Yeah like canttx said, you need to break the clutch in before doing any crazy shifts. With an OEM clutch I would do 1500km break-in. Now if it were a copper disc type clutch there really isn't a need for break- in, but you should anyways for 500km or so. That's what I did and everything is just peachy.
