Okay heres my situation
I need to get my car fixed, but i'm not sure what route to go.
Option 1 - take my car to formula, get them to fix it. New fender, new front bumper, rental for 5 days.

Option 2 - Get a cash settlement. Get an adjuster to take a look at my car, and take the chance that he may say that my front bumper does not need to be replaced. (theres a crack about 2 inches on the driver side, around the area where the bumper bolts onto the car)


My front bumper is aftermarket, to I would LOVE to have a new OEM one, a rental would be nice but I can manage without.
I'd like to get a cash settlement, buy the parts from parkway and get the car fixed on my own and have some cash left over, but i'm afraid that the adjuster is going to say that I dont need a front bumper. Anyone have any experience with adjusters? or cash claims?

an adjuster will not give you money for an oem bumper.. insurance prefers to pay for oem replacement (read: aftermarket) parts.
