igot a speeding ticket when i FIRST got my g2 and i didnt fgight it it was stupid....and it takes 3 years for it to disappear so my mom put me on the insuance before the ticket went through, so they pulled upa motor vehicle report on me beofre the ticket went through so if i try to get a discount iwth a g license, theyre going to pull up a report and see it and my insurance will go up more than i would save so i gotta wait a nother year and a half beofre i can claim that discount, but its ironic, my borther said he'd go get his own insurance with another company so my mom can put me back as temporary on my car so i can pay 160 again becuase 300 is killer a mont but i need to drive so i pay it

Basicly you can only suspend your insurance for 30days or more.
What every a monthyl premeuim is is what you have to back pay.

I cant believe some of the prices you guys pay for insurance. I pay under $300 a month for my wife and I to be fully insured under both cars (07 Si, 07 Mini Cooper) and our home insurance.
Im also old and married and I live out in the boonies. LOL

I'm 26 and insured under TD insurance, fully covered with the grand touring package. The EG is insured as a pleasure vehicle (>10,000 km/year). $84/month, Living in Northern Ontario.
RBC wanted $385/month when i first applied under 25.

I have a 95 civic si and i used to pay 360 per month with TD until i changed to StateFarm which i was paying 170 one way....a year after jus because i lost my good student package i had to pay 250/mnth....this year my premium went up to 280.....i ll turn 25 on sep and i have my g.....i called the StateFarm and asked them y my premium went up for this year and they said that s because i had one non-at-fault accident before buying the civic......WTF?????????....

this is purely hypothetical(sp?)
When I was 19 and Broke, I put my civic in my grandma's name, had full coverage, and only paid $400 a year lol Because on my drivers license I was at a different address than the vehicle, I didn't need to be insured on the car... I got pulled over many of times(no tickets issued... try being a 18yr old driving a plain ol white civic 91 hatch, pulled over more often to 'check insurance, drivers license, and ownership') and never had a problem with the fuzz.
