Insurance

Just wondering if anyone knows about car insurance in detail? Do you guys think it will cost more on insurance suppose I get a Honda Civic Si compared to a Honda Civic Lx? Or do you guys think that Honda Civic generally cost around the same. But I know that newer cars will cost more? Sorry for the "noob" question.

An Si would be considered a "sporty" version of the Civic and therefore more expensive. Your driving history, location, etc can all effect how much more an Si would cost then any other Civic. My Si for example was only $1.00 more per month then my EX. But, I'm older, have a clean record and live out in the country.

Any coupe they consider sporty car. If You want cheap insurance get a bigger car or Van..

It would make sense that since the Si cost more, it would mean insurance would be more than the LX model. Not in the hundreds, mind you...but like stated above, a few dollars more.

there's more claims every year against civics. My boss bought a pontiac montana just because the insurance was cheaper then a chevy venture, even tho the montana was a few bucks more, there are less of them.
