Got pulled over....

Cop was an ***, i was turning left and across the cop was turning right we both had stop signs, so i stop go and then i see the cop stop and go... i was already out before him then i hear him slam on the brakes... i'm like WTF???, i see sirens i got my g2 like 20 or so days ago i'm like oh **** ****.. Cop was like what are you doing... i'm like i'm sorry i didn't see you?, he goes you almost clipped the front of my car... he goes if you did i would have been so pissed..., then he goes back to cop car get's his partner "hot girl" then starts asking us random questions? I was with my friend going to pick my mom up from work then going to my house for a swim" So the guy cop ask me what's your rush? i'm like i don't have one? then he's like where are you going... i'm going to pick my mom up from work.. he's like your working for your mom? i'm like reapted above... then the girl cop starts asking my friend where he lives? how old he is.. then there like show me your idea to my friend... my friends like i don't have any on me he didn't.. then he's like show me your idea.. then asked for my liscence, and insurance... then he's like ownership.. he looks all 3 for like 3 minutes then goes back to car... I think he thought the car was stolen? even though the insurance/ownership papers had the same last name as my mom? w/e.. then he comes back.. and gives me the stuff back.. then he's like what's in the bag "my friend had his backpack, with a bathing suit towl, and some dvd's" he's like open it up and show me? Cop looked in it.. he's like okay, i'm giving you a warning this time, i'm like i'm really sorry.... what else could i say...?

I didn't do anything wrong, not gonna argue... 2 cops vs 2 17 year olds.. bah...

Anyway don't really care anymore

Was it at a 4 way stop?

Were you at two way stop? ie. A main street with two stop signs on the side streets.

Just by pure logic, if g2speed did come to a complete stop and was turning left onto the same road that the cop was turning right onto and they nearly collided, I would say the cop is at fault since g2speed was already into the intersection when the cop was stopped at the sign. Also, if the cop slammed on the brakes while making a right turn from a stop sign, he was doing it for effect or driving like an idiot.

Sounds like the cops decided to hassle you, at least there were no tickets involved.

SilverSiG - how would i be royally screwed, because it's a cop car it's different from a regular car?

starboy869 - i was at A main street with two stop signs on the side streets.

kane2k - i did come to a complete stop, i could just slow down and go, because there was to much glare.. i had to wait till i could see... and it seemed like he thought, we had stolen car more then what he or i did?... it's like you almost hit me..., then that dissapeard and was like who's car is this, where are you going... what's in the bag?

I geuss there just doing there job hassling young kids

if you hit a cop car? are you serious?

do you realize who writes the ticket and who determines who's fault it is? cops. If they show up to see you hit a cop car, who do you think they are going to believe, you or the cop?

so to answer your questions yes, a cop car IS different from a regular car...

or if you dont' believe me, rear end one softly one day and ask him if you can pay cash for it and not go through insurance and see what he says... we all know what a regular car would do

difference is the cop could find a bunch of different stuff to write tickets up for you, who knows, he could claim you were driving recklessly and then you'd have to go fight it in court...

i don't know why you want specific proof, if you dont' believe me then don't I couldn't care less, if you ever do hit a cop car you'll find out the hard way what the difference is between the two.

i would like to slam on the breaks when a cop tailgates.

i would like to see what he could complain about then.

there is never a legal excuse for tailgating.

they used to come up my rear right up to my bumper all the time for maybe 30 seconds before putting the lights on.

Slamming on the brakes to cause an accident isn't allowed either, he would write you both a ticket and forget to show up to court for his.
