Adding to HTA Useful Note: Rear Lights To Illuminate Plates??
Anyone want to make sure White with minimal blue tint are LEGAL?
What determines a 'white light only'? Factory manufacturer cars are equipped with a 'clear halogen colour' (A better term?) which you can see is Yellow White. These Polarg 168 White Bulbs illuminate a White light with a blue tint (A better term?). How can an officer determine what type of white is acceptable. Using the RGB, from what color to what color is legal? Exactly they can't answer that. White is broad term, there are many types of white, white with yellow, green, blue, red tint, do they still meet the HTA requirements?
Someone want to clarify on this? (PULOVR )

It's up to the cops discretion. Just like exhausts, there's no legal DB limit in Canada. If the cop feels that your exhaust is "too loud" then he can give you a ticket for it.
I know sometimes for lights though a cop may put a white piece of paper over the light. If the paper has any tint of blue on it then your lights are considered "too blue".
