Gauges won't Illuminate?

I just installed a new Si Cluster in my '93 DX Hatch today. During the day the gauges worked fine (except the oil temp, but that wasnt working in original DX gauge since the swap last weekend). All was good til I drove it at night tonight and the gauges wouldnt light up. All the little lights like the turn signals and engine light work, but the gauges dont illuminate. There were 3 connections to the old cluster, and they were all connected to the new one accordingly. Any ideas, assuming the ne Si cluster isnt faulty in lighting?

check ur fuses

there is one fuse thats for ur gauge lights, and your driving taillights.
so turn your headlights on, and see if your taillights come on too.. if they do, then you got another problem, but if your taillights do not come on, then its that fuse

I can't see it being the bulbs because there are about 6 bulbs that are used for back light. i can't see them all being burnt out but you never know. have you even checked to see if there are bulbs in it?
the person you got the cluster from may have put some blue led or something in all the backlight places. he might have wanted to keep them so he could have taken them all out.

i have a 96 civic i have the same problem right now...for me its the fuse. as soon as i turn on the headlights and the interior lights(guages and all) the 7.5amp fuse at the bottom of my steering coloum blows. my headlights, turn signals and rear lgiths work...so chekc your fuse man...most probably that is the problem. i gotta get mine fixed. let me know how urs turn out.

Check the fuse, I doubt its the bulbs because I have 2 bulbs removed from the cluster and they still illuminate. Most likely its the fuse.
