well most ppl just replace the whole rear lower control arm, or you can get energy suspension bushings alone from just about any performance store. these are a common item that breaks, so they should have them in stock almost anywhere.

just go to torontojdm.com in scarborough and pick up some used ITR or EG6 SiR LCAs... i poked through their stash and found some with near-perfect bushings. got all 4 for the price of the ES poly bushings (not counting installation of the bushings - what a pain in the ***!).

time = money.

This maybe a stupid question, but can the rear bushings be inspected visually either by just jacking the car up, or by removing the tire as well? Would i be able to see the siezed bushing just like that? or is it one of those things i cant see until i take it all apart? i dont wanna take it all apart then realize im stuck w/o parts.

And im assuming if i need to replace the bushings. i might as well just get new LCA's (new ones come with bushings right??)
The trailing arm bushing will be the easiest to tell if it's cracked. In most cases it's not that the bushing is shot, it's that the bolt is seized in the bushing, so when you go to remove to bolt, the head will snap off. another good idea is looking into getting a camber kit, once you lower the car it throws your camber off and you will get uneven tire wear.

If you're planning to lower your car but won't be getting a camber kit, you can do a camber washer trick as it's pretty effective. Just do a search in the DIY and you'll see what I'm talking about.

That only works for the rear. Rear camber kits aren't all that expensive.
