93 civic si 3 dr..

I has on my way home and just got off the highway. After coming to a stop and beginning to accelerating i noticed a exhaust noise coming from the lower dash/ shifter area. what could this possibly be? I have recently replaced the rear muffler. I am thinking it is a gasket or something?? NOTE: it only happens during acceleration, not by reving the engine.

I would say that this means you have a hole in your exhaust near the cat.

its time to change your whole exhaust..

Thanks guys, i check out the area i suspected, turns out the rubber boot under the shifter console came off.
