Removing mp3 deck without proper tools =(

When i purchased my alpine deck a few years back I was never given the proper tools for removing it.

anyone know a trick to get it out without those metal slidy things?

my model is CDA-9847

deck removal

if u get a couple flat head screwdrivers and gently bend the clips back u can pull it out pretty easy. thats how i got mine out

flat butter knives trust me you can do a full deck install with just butter knives

i know from experience

I used the little screw drivers that I got with my kyb/agx's loll. Anything flat really. Then brute force, yank that biotch out lol. Worked for me lotsa times.
