Question Car Audio Installation

Hi All,

Does anybody know of a place (in toronto) that will install a car stereo in my car. I am looking for a place that has a good reputation for both quality of labour at an affordable price.

Thanks for your help

Oh, installing a CD player on a Civic is pretty easy. You could do it yourself with little to no experience.

All you need is one of those wire harnesses from Crappy Tire.

Me and my friend did mine in less than an hour for FREE (minus the cost of the harness and electrical tape)

I'd say just follow the directions and do it yourself. You'll be happy with the end result if you're just installing a CD player and nothing else.

I actually just installed a pioneer cd player less than a week ago in my 00 civic and it was pretty easy. Although it took longer than expected because me and my buddy had to figure out which panels to remove and stuff. Then I soldered the harness together and used shrink wrap, yes i went through a lot of trouble with the soldering but i wanted a nice job. The guys are right that you will feel good about doing it yourself too. All i paid was $20 for the harness and that was all. If you need any help, just give me a shout.

Thats the best way.

Soldering your connections and heat shrink wrap them makes a solid connection, that wont break loose or degrade over time. It also makes for less resistances between the 2 wires, and is almos as good as if the wires were originaly attached and not 2 pieces.
