Line Level Car audio installation
I tried to install my line level convertor , but ran into a few problems, i don't think they are related to the line level tho.
1) i hooked up my amp , but everytime i put in the fuse under the hood, the fuses (2x20 amp) on the amp blow, and the same happens when i do the amp fuses first. I disconnected everything and tried again
my ignition wire going to my stock deck is attached to the remote wire going to the amp, which is controlled by a switch. I disconnected the remote wire from the deck and the amp and now my deck does not want to turn on.
It will light up when i turn the headlights on but the radio wont play, it wont turn on.
Is there a fuse in the stock deck that may have blew? Or is my amp blown? How could i check if my amp/ deck are blown?
any thoughts on how to fix this?
thanks
