*Update*

I went back on saturday with my mechanic friend, so he wouldn't try to BS me anymore on any technical crap.

Two times previously, I had asked him where he sent out the head to get machined, and each time he told me a different shop. So either he is really stupid or he doesn't know how to lie and be consistent. I called all the shops in my area to verify his charges for the machine and inspection service, and for the machining he overcharged me by 80$. It's not adding up to me.

Back to Saturday, I asked to see the invoice for the machine shop, he couldn't produce it, and I ask him where he sent it to, then he gives me yet another name and says thats the only place he sends heads to. I'm thinking he didnt even send it out. I'm hoping when I get the head off and send it to a good shop they will be able to tell me if it was machined or not.....
