That's what I mean. The OBDI Hondata ECU doesn't have emmissions controls that your original OBDII ECU does.

People try all sorts of hacks for no cat on a OBDII ECU. Resistor, tinfoil over the second sensor... Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. If you want to be certain, you can buy a O2 simulator to replace the second O2. Also you can just disconnect your ECU's backup power supply. The ECU won't throw a secondary O2 failure code until it's failed multiple times. If you cut the backup ECU power, it's like doing a ECU reset every time you turn off your car.

im running no cat, my headders have 2 02 bungs...i thought forsure it was going to throw a code if i used the second bung on the downpipe, seeing as its not takeing a before and after cat reading, so i ran with one 02 and a threw a code for awhile... then i said **** it and tryed out the second bung on the downpipe and it got rid of the code!

I thought forsure it was going to throw a code anyway ...

so moral of my story just get an extended wire harness from canadian tire (used for wireing trailers), make your secondary 02 wire longer and run it to a bung that you can weld into your exhaust pipe, try and keep it close so it warms up quick enough not to throw a code...

that should work

My 2nd 02 bung is right at the end of my downpipe... no codes

yeah... I was thinking O2 sim, but my buddy uses one and now he gets a secondary o2 sensor heating circuit error I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

they are phasing out emissions tests over the next 4 years....

you should pass fine as long as there isnt too much extra fuel and a good cat working.

they never popped my hood.
I also passed just fine... running aem.
