stiff springs (searched)

Hello, I have Koni yellows with Neuspeed Race springs on my 91 civic si. The ride is far too soft, even with the shocks maxed out. This setup was good on my old car (EG) but after emailing Neuspeed, I have found that their spring rates for EFs are softer for some reason. I am looking for some very stiff springs, something good for the track. Would Progress or H&R Race be better? I know people praise Ground Control but they are expensive and I really don't need adjustability. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Ryan

Put brands aside, first of all, you need to know what spring rates are on your current setup then pursue a stiffer rate.

Then, I would go with linear spring than progressive spring.

so... your current neuspeed race you are using were firmer when you used them on your eg?

now, just a little background... efs are much lighter than egs...

logically, the ride would be much stiffer. now, neuspeed told you their ef springs are softer... now, we take another look into what was stated above how efs are lighter than egs... so, that would make sense that the spring rates would be softer.

so, to me, your shocks are blown...

just to clarify, my EG was a CX. My EF is an Si. My current car is almost 300 pounds heavier than the last. My shocks are not blown. I have put less than 3k on both the shocks and springs. Also, I meant the brand "Progress". So far in my learining of vehicles, I have not discovered the difference between linear and progressive springs.

Generall, I simply do not like the Neuspeed Race springs for the EF. Need somethin' HAAARD. Anyone know of stiffer ones?

Thanks for the input!!!

Ground-control coil sleeves. They come with decent rates and you can custom order any rates you want. Ground-Control / Koni combination is loved on Honda-Tech, loved long time.

Linear springs retain their stiffness through their range of travel.
Progressive springs get stiffer as they are compressed.

I think Eibach makes custom springs.
