shocks and springs recommendation?

finally decided on next mod... eshhhlammin the civic.

the stock ride is a bit soft which I don't mind, but I'd really like to get rid off the excessive body roll...

Seems from all the post HR OE sports (drops 1" which is perfect) is the spring for me. I don't want it dropped a lot, half an inch to an inch is all I'm willing to go.

Budget is cheap as possible, nothing over $500 for both springs and shocks, looking for used stuff, new is a possibility depending on price.

What used shocks should I get that would match the HR OE sports?

-stock SIR - would it fit?
-stock integra's/GSRs - would it fit?
-KYBs

don't want coilovers, as I want this to be a drop it in and leave it mod. Rear swaybar may be added in the future.

any suggestions?

well unless you find some used stuff you wont get KYBs for any less then $500. I just got KYB AGXs brand new for $575 after shipping and customs off ebay. You can get cheap springs that do the trick from ebay as well. I got Teins for about $200.

I have stock susp right now...

the SIR's would probably be as good as the H&R OEM sport...

what about just putting in the springs? anyone riding on stock struts with H&R OE sports springs?

anyone riding on stock tegs into their eg? curious if it improves the ride...

H&R OEM is still going to give a better ride because they built on the exisiting ride IMO... my H&Rs are nice... i used to ride stock struts on 1.5" drop... ride was decent, but the shocks gave up sooner than i wanted and it wasn't nearly a firm enough ride to takle advantage of the lowered stance.
