is this a distributor problem?
ok heres my problem. at around 2500 to 3000rpms my engine will jerk feels like the power cuts out for less then a sec. sometimes i will start my car and it wont happen and most of the time it does happen. i have replaced everything you can think of , plugs plug wires, dizzy cap rotor, fuel filter changed about 4 months ago. and more. this started happening after my mpfi swap. i was getting code 9 so the dizzy i got with it was **** so i bought a used one . did the trouble shooting and the ohms were good and no continuity, so the dizzy should be fine but i still get code 9 cylinder position sensor. what could be the problem.. is it really the dizzy i really hope it isnt since i spent 170 on the dam thing. and its over 400 for a rebuilt one.
thanks

before you go trippin' here are two sites to check out. also, might be worth a call to auto zone in the USA and take a trip down there to save yourself a few bux.

no matter where i buy a distributor from its still going to be 300 dollars in the end.. getting it from a website saves me about 100 but id still rather swap my engine for a better one for around the same price.
