i am just borrowing one temporarily from a friend. the one i am borrowing has a seized bearing so it is slightly noisy.

i'm going to buy a new one from distributor king (ebay name)
they sell brand new (not rebuilt) oem distributors that come with a lifetime warranty and are built to a higher spec then the oem distributor. they come with cap and rotor. the one for my car is about 185 CAD shipped. depending on what motor you got, it could be less.

they have great feedback and everyone that has purchased from them is fully satisfied. definitely better then buying an aftermarket distributor or a rebuilt one.

i agree... i was told that the iridium plugs burn so hot that its bad for engines with aluminum heads... could warp them or something...

well i cant use copper plugs anyways because the engine requires platinum tipped. so i just went out and bought a set of platinum tipped ngk g power plugs instead of the iridiums which i just returned to canadian tire
