Crx High Rpm Misfire...
Just hoping someone here may be able to help me out.
I have an ex-SCCA ITB '86 CRX Si race car from the US. The car runs like a top except for a misfire from about 4500rpm to 5500rpm. I've checked the regular stuff like distributor cap, rotor, wires, etc. and no solution. It does seem to be idling a little high and when I pull out on to the track the "PGM-FI" light comes on. I checked the ECU tonight and the first light, #8, is on. I've found conflicting definitions of what that means.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark
