Noise....

Noise....
OK, this isn't the first time that this has happened. I notice that the surroundings might have something to do with it...I think it usually happens when I drive/park on gravel. Once I start driving, I hear a loud squeaking noise from the Driver's side front wheel area. It comes and goes... I took off the wheel with my dad, and we couldn't see anything wrong..the brake disc spun without any problems, and there wasn't anything wedged in or stuck in the brake caliper area or anywhere else. Usually what I do when it starts squeaking is pump the brake a couple of times, and the squeak usually goes away.
Does anyone have this same problem, or know what could be the cause of it? My dad will be taking the car to our mechanic on monday, but I'd rather fix (if possible) what it is thats making the noise myself.
Thanks for the help,
MK

Ball joint? Press your foot against the tire and see if it rocks.
Suspenion? Most likey some sweekey bushings.
I think you should be fine unless your front end it wobbing sweeking or somthing.
Plus its on rocks, thats not flat like it shaking the car as you drive on it...
