Hello all,

Just as the post title says. My 96 civic coupe si is making a humming noise while I turn thats seems like its coming from the front end. I can feel a sort of vibration as well, through the steering wheel. Its less noisey when driving in a straight line but still there. I've had this car for a while so I've changed things that normally have to be changed on civics like, ball joints, timing belt, even the passenger side rear wheel bearing. Im stumped as to what it might be. Has anyone had this happen, and if so some advice would be greatly apreciated. Please either pm or reply in post.

my car did that and i fround out it was the wheel bearing in the front and i kept driving still and it ended up bad where i couldn't get the bearing out of the hub and the drive saft...so i had to replace both..the wheel bearing and the drive saft

Thanks redline. I think I will get the car checked out and I think your right the sound coming from my front end sounds almost exactly like the sound from my rear wheel bearing when it had to be replaced last year.

bearing or ball joint...check CV joint as well
